Mother's Day with Pion

With Mother's day approaching here in the Uk what better paper to choose than those of Pion. the colours are just so soft and feminine you simply cannot go wrong. I am not one to over indulge with emblishments as sometimes these can hide the stunning images, and I love to showcase the images as they are truly breathtaking.
Flowers/Lace from stash, ribbon, pearls, stamens available from the Ribbon Girl
chipboard ivy , Tag from magnolia doohickey kit, Butterfly border die from ebay.
Frame using Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles 7.

Cutting perfect sentiment from sheet using dies.

Many a time I have bought a sheet of paper with tons of sentiment that I simply struggled to cut perfectly, especially the round sentiments. Well today I will teach you a simple way to cut those sentiments using your dies perfectly each and every time. Picture help below for guidance.
I have used Graphic 45 Mon Amour Love xoxo sheet.
Firstly find a die that is as close to the size of the sentiment as possible. then take your die, and a scrap piece of card and run through your machine.
Now take the die away and place the aperture over your sheet of sentiments, the aperture is the exact cut to place over the sentiment. ( I have used circular die/sentiment for this demonstration.) Tape the aperture over the sentiment and replace your die ready to cut. you may tape the die to stop any movement when passing through the machine, and now pass through the die cutting machine and voila...the perfect circular sentiment. No more trying to cut around and dusting the edges with ink to mask the unevenness lol. You can now matt that sentiment onto your scallop circle to finish your project or simply use alone.
Happy Crafting and Happy Christmas everybody...xxxxx

My latest love....

I have to be quite frank and admit that I have never used Nuvo by Tonic until now and oh boy do I love the Glitter Drops White Buzzard, so very sparkly!
Sometimes even the best of us do have a little glue spillage or that little bit of glue that sneaks out when you least expect it, so using glitter is a quick aid.
Today's card is one of my favourite Tilda stamps and fab for all occasion of celebration and ages.
Materials included in my card are ;-
Anna Marie design papers 8 x 8 paper pad, ruffle pink ribbon trim, flowers from stash, Doohickey club 16 heart die, Glass die from stash, seam binding, Joy crafts ornate square die, Nuvo glitter drops
stamens from stash and rat tail twine. Image was coloured using Copic markers.
